LEWISVILLE — The Lewisville Idaho Fans (previously known as the Lewisville Community Association) group is planning their next meeting for Monday, May 6, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Lewisville Community Center. The memorial gathering for Amos Williams, 71, who passed away on April 12, is planned for Friday, May 10, from 10–11:30 a.m. at the Wood Funeral Home East Side in Ammon. Burial will be in the Annis–Little Butte Cemetery at 12 noon where Military Honors will be performed by the Jefferson County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
The Lewisville First Ward is having a Humanitarian Quilt Day on Wednesday, April 24, starting at 10:00 a.m. They will be having a potluck lunch; please bring something to share.
The Lewisville Second Ward Primary Pinewood Derby is on Saturday, April 27, at the church. Weigh–ins and registrations begin at 5:30 p.m. and races start at 6:00 p.m.
The Menan Stake semi–annual Stake Conference was held April 20–21. Sunday morning session speakers included Keisha Kearsley, Kyle Jacobs, Carrie Terry, Bonnie Olaveson, Keith Nelson, Matt Hancock, and Richard Cannon. Stake members were encouraged to find ways to increase joy in their lives. Music was provided by a stake choir.
Nils and Loraine Lindstrom recently hosted a Parson family get–together at their new home.
