Fall River Electric scholarships available

Children, who will be either juniors or seniors in high school, of owner-members of Fall River Rural Electric Cooperative are encouraged to apply for the free Youth Rally in July. The deadline is April 14. Each student will receive a $500 scholarship to attend the Youth Rally, at the College of Idaho in the Boise area, where they will learn leadership and team building skills, while also learning about the electricity industry and careers. Other scholarships are available for those who attend. A short application is available at www.fallriverelectric.com, under the MYCOMMUNITY tab.

Jefferson school board next week

The Jefferson Joint School District #251 Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 15 in the District Office, 3850 E. 300 N., Rigby. An agenda will be available on sd251.org.

Commissioners next Monday

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. April 10 in the Commissioners Room of the Jefferson County Courthouse, 210 Courthouse Way, Rigby.

Ririe City Council on Tuesday

The Ririe City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. April 11 at Ririe City Hall, 464 Main St., Ririe.

Ririe school board on Thursday

The Ririe School District #252 Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. April 13 at the Jr/Sr High School Media Center.

JYSA registration coming up

Rigby Summer Soccer registration will be April 13 and 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. and April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Rigby City Library basement. Players must be pre-k through fifth grade. $50 registration fee. For more information visit jysasoccer.blogspot.com.

Fire District to discuss architects

The Central Fire District Board of Commissioners will meet April 6 at 7 p.m. in the District Office on Annis Hwy. They will discuss architects and architectural design.
